I write about data engineering, Linux, and self-hosting, and publish hands-on guides on Kubernetes and homelabs.

I'm Mart, a Data Platform Engineer at LHV. I specialize in platform engineering, DataOps, and building scalable data infrastructure with modern cloud technologies — including ClickHouse, Databricks, Kubernetes, Terraform, and dbt.
Previously at Foxway Group I led Kubernetes migrations for ClickHouse services and co-architected a group-wide Databricks lakehouse. I've also shared my passion for technology as a Lecturer at TalTech, teaching programming, algorithms, and digital logic. I hold an M.Sc. in Engineering from the University of Tartu and have founded two startups focused on sustainability and automation.
Outside of work, I enjoy robotics projects (currently building a hexapod spider robot), 3D printing custom solutions, strength training in my renovated garage gym, and exploring Estonia's beautiful nature. Always excited to chat about data engineering, platform architecture, or innovative tech projects!
